Students will receive an email from the SEMJF Symplicity administrator with their login credentials. Login to the system to review your profile, specifically the year in school designation and school email address. Any student who does not receive the email on May 25 should reach out to their law school career services office for assistance.
Student review period opens. Students will be able to view opportunities from participating employers, and virtual Information Sessions scheduled by sponsoring employers, in Symplicity. Students may also use this time to begin preparing documents (resume, cover letter(s), transcript prepared by using template available online, and a diversity statement) as requested by employers.
To submit applications you must upload the following to your Symplicity Application Documents module:
1. Resume
Some employers will also request a cover letter (which you will prepare individually for each employer)
and/or an unofficial transcript.
A writing sample will be required if you are selected for an interview.
Due to file size specifications, uploading a scanned version of your transcript is NOT permitted. Instead, use the template provided below to create an unofficial transcript. You are responsible for reporting your grades and overall GPA correctly, and in accordance with your school's reporting policies. Improperly reported GPA and/or grades may lead to dismissal from SEMJF.
All applications must be submitted in accordance with the relevant deadlines as set out in the student timeline.
Application deadlines cannot be extended and late applications will not be accepted.
