Students selected to interview will automatically be assigned an interview time. When you bid, please take note of the date(s) that the employer is interviewing – some will hold interviews on both Thursday and Friday, July 15th and 16th, so your interview could be scheduled for either day, while others will hold interviews on just one date. There is no accept or decline period. Submitting an application is a commitment to interview if an interview is offered.
Only students with more than 10 interview selections will have the opportunity to accept or decline interviews. All other students must plan to interview with each employer they have been selected to interview.
Then scroll down to see your invitations next to the employers to which you submitted bids.
If you are selected for more than 10 interviews or alternate slots:
You are only allowed to participate in 10 interviews, total. Determine which 10 interviews (or a combination of 10 interviews and alternate slots) you would like to keep and those which you want to decline. Send a list of the opportunities you choose to decline to the Student Affairs Coordinator by Sunday, July 4 at 11:58 p.m. EDT, per the email you receive from her.
Note about being selected as an Alternate:
If you receive an alternate invitation, it means that the employer would like to see you should there be cancellations on their schedule. If a cancellation occurs, you may be moved into the time slot of the cancelling student. If you are given a time slot, you must attend the interview.
All student questions regarding SEMJF must be directed to your own law school career services office.
